Default Whats considered city/highway milage?

With all this talk about gas milage on the IS and GS forums, what does Lexus consider city and highway miles?

Example: For me, I consider city driving is anything more than a few stop lights, stop and go traffic, less than a few miles. highway, I consider anything more than 3+miles with no stoplights and speeds of >55mph.

With that in mind, I get about 17-18mpg when I filled up

I would think the same. In your case, considering you just got your car, give it a month and you will see your city mileage go by another 1-2 mpg. Mine is on-average 19.7 mpg; can't comment on a highway since I didn't have a chance yet. I'm sure with snow coming our way (eventually ) and a Remote Start I just got, that average will go down.

but would there be a big difference (~2 MPG) when comparing RWD to AWD?
