Last week, coming home from Canada,I drove through some snow squalls near Buffalo. Needless to say,by the time I arrrived home, the car was filthy from the snow and salt. While driving around in town,at times, the sensors would seemingly beep for no reason. One time I put the car in reverse, and the sensor was beeping at almost a steady tone, and nothing was behind me.
The next day,I washed the car and it has not happened again. Has anyone experienced this?

I believe the owners manual talks about dirty sensors affecting the accuracy. I am sure the sensors don't know the difference between heavy snow and an object you are about to hit. I believe you can turn off the park assist for the situations you are describing.
