Having just spent just over 2000 miles in car I can honestly say I absolutely love the car. My wife and I went from St. Louis, MO to Savannah, GA and back with a couple of detours to visit friends along the way and the car was great apart from a failed VaisTech SLI install, but I'll correct that this weekend hopefully.
I have found a very strange behavior that I hope Lexus addresses at some point with a firmware update to the nav. While in Savannah I noticed that if a put in a location via phone number my route would often times be different than when I put it in by name or location. One destination actually routed me an extra mile out of the way but ended up at the same place. This was while sitting in the driveway of my parent's house to the same location.
The other problem is my GS with less than 7000 miles was hit by a golf cart by some kids while parked on the street overnight. I went by the dealer this afternoon and has shocked that it was only $1300 of damage. It seems Lexus built in a clipping mechanism into the rear bumper that pops free when hit to avoid taking more damage which saved me a bundle since I don't have to replace the entire bumper, just the side panel. A huge plus for Lexus again! It's things like this that make me appreciate Lexus more and more.
