Default 07 GS owners that use the built-in Bluetooth... I have a Q

I know the '07 GS has newer Bluetooth software than the '06 cars, and was wondering for those 2007 GS owners
that use BT a lot (like me) in your cars, what settings do you have your BT voice quality set to?

My send and receive are each set to 3, and the BT quality is set to 7.

This seems to work pretty well according to those I call... they can hear me well most times, but
I am always on an ever-tweaking quest to make sure I have it tuned to the absolute best settings for my conversations.

So, what settings are the rest of you using?

Settings? I've yet to touch the factory settings since I've had no BT issues... but now that you mention it... something else to go play with

I've bumped my volume to 2 and people have said there is a noticable difference. I originally bumped it to 3 but people complained of echo. This was with my Treo 700w and Moto Q.

I am not sure, but my current guess is it has something to do w/ the extended Synchronous Connections (esco) packet transmission rate/frequency.... just a SWAG really, I am not that up on the BT technical details to really know what Lexus may be referring to here w/ this setting... excellent Q for sure.... hopefully someone out there knows...

I have not come across a Lexus BT document yet that shows what these settings are supposed
to do and how they might affect a call's quality. It's probably in some shop manual... if some kind soul who has purchased the tech. manual can look and see if there is any more info. on this BT adjustment to share, that would be appreciated.

I did find out that a large percentage of the BT quality issue has to do with the BT stack on the phone itself. I have upgraded the radio ROM on my HTC Trinity several times now, and the BT quality varies quite substantially in some cases without touching the car's BT settings. I have left my GS handsfree BT alone at the settings in my post above, and this works for me. YMMV.
