Putting air in the spare without removing it
Discovered a neat way to air up my spare tire on my 2007 GS350 without removing the spare tire or the tool tray that sits on top of it. I simply cut out a small portion (about 2" square using a hack saw blade) of the hand grip hole in the plastic tool tray that sits on top of the spare and moved the spare tire around so that the air valve was directly underneath the now slightly larger opening for the tray handgrip. Now I simply lift up my trunk carpet mat and can use both my tire gauge and air compressor fitting to top off the spare 60 psi without disturbing either the spare tire or the tool tray. No fuss, no muss!!

None here either.. saves 40lb all ya gotta do is when you get a flat on the road and you call Lexus Roadside as you would anyway, just tell them you don't have your spare and they will bring one
