How long did you wait to get your GS?

tracked mine off the boat. It went to one dealership, I went to another one closer to me, they went and picked it up on a flat bed from the dealership it was sent, and brought it to me. all in a matter of days.

Mine was already at the dealer. I can't stand waiting to get something. Either they have one orI wont order it. ONLY because if I wait 2 months, there will be about 4 month wait before I start hearing facts about next years model. So I rather have the car for alonger period before fiding out theres a better model.

Mine was already inbound on the boat when I bought it. I'm sure I could have held out for a while - for example, a SGM with black interior came in early January, which at the time (early December) I purchased my Starfire Pearl was my 1st choice. The thing was, no one could tell me when the SGM I wanted was coming in. Yet, no regrets at this point with my choice! And as soon as I made up my mind to go with it, then I became somewhat anxious if not impatient waiting for it!

Ordered mine right after the official release date - took two weeks to get the color combo I wanted delivered up from the port.

I took another customers reserved car because they were undecided about which model they wanted. Like they say "Cash talks, bull**** walks"

My GS350 was inbound, took about 2 weeks. None on the lot though, plenty of 450h's sitting around! Said they couldn't sell them b/c of the trunk space.

Because I wanted a standard Lexus color combination (black with gray interior) that California (or the whole western region) deemed unnecessary, I had to special order. Took 4 months.

I waited only a few weeks.. I don't remember exactly. Wanted Black/Black Nav Only. Luckily, there was one that was either at or on the way to the Long Beach port. And now, it's home with me.

starfire pearl w/ cashmere and nav last night. What a beautiful car - won't let the wife drive it again until things thaw out around here and they stop spreading so much salt and cinders.

Really? I test drove one exactly like that on Day One (August 29th). Didn't want the gray, so I had to wait...LOL!
