What ever you do don't waste your money on the F sport intake. Its a joke..... a big joke. I had mine installed with no problems, but also no added sound of any kind at all ( seriously 0). In the end I am probably going to put the stock system on again. The droning is really getting on my nerves

I didn't install myself, had a lexus tech put it on, and the first day, it was fine, and i did drive it a bit. It was the second day of driving the light came on.

I took it by the shop, they pulled the code, and it said "Lean in Bank 1 & 2"...

he cleared the codes to get rid of the lights,.. drove it a few more hours and it came back on.

I've had the Fujita intake installed for almost a year now. Check engine light came on the next day. I unhooked the battery, hooked it back up, and haven't seen the light since.

I know this thread is created a long time ago, but, I just want to know what you guys think about the Fujita intake? Because I'm considering to buy one for my GS300 '06 since it seems like its the only brand who offer the intake system for the car.

I see from the dyno that the performance gain is very superficial. So, is the intake worth the money? Any good or bad comments?

thanks for sharing !

Mike

Honestly Mike, I'd say no its not worth it unless you want a cool WOT noise, other then that, that's it.

If you want to do a intake mod, IMO, i'd probaby just a K&N drop in, or a mishimoto intake. You can buy it on ebay for like $20.00 or so. Any more then that personally I think its a waste of money.

i installed mine a year ago and had no problems untill a few weeks ago. i got an error code for running lean on banks 1 and 2. the problem ended up being the weld for the stabalizer arm that bolts the intake to the engine bay. the arm broke free of the weld to the intake tube, so i had an inch long, half inch wide hole in my intake. this, of course, is not good. lol. did a little patchwork, so all is well now, but needless to say i was a little bit upset that this happened. i will be contacting fujita to see if this is covered under warranty or not.
you may want to check and see if you have the same issue...
