Default quick poll about GS trunk

Anyone else think it's kinda funky shaped/useless/lame?

I'm having a hard time putting stuff in the back because of the shape...

just wondering if i'm alone in this gripe

(LOVE THE REST OF THE CAR THO...)

Yes , opening is to small. Kinda small for a car this size, but I will take the extra room in the rear seating area insteed of trunk space.

it fits 2 sets of golf clubs pretty easily as well as 2 - 3 pieces of luggage... so it suited my needs However, compared to the Toyota Avalon I had prior to this, the Avalon made the GS trunk look like a matchbox...

Trunk is definitely smaller than I would like due to the strange shape.

Its a really worthless trunk in my opinion. What kind of midsize car has a trunk that is smaller than an Infiniti G35 coupe trunk!

I'm curious on how this car is the same size as my '00 maxima and yet the back seats have more room and the run was way bigger.
The GS wheelbase is much longer 112.2 inches
2000 Maxima wheelbase is 108.6 inches

1GS 13.0 cub ft (gas tank located behind the seats)
2GS 14.8 cub ft (14% improvement, smaller car by 5 inches, bigger trunk)
3GS 13.2 cub ft
3GS 450h 7.5 cub ft

I also find the 3GS trunk shaped funny

Exactly the way I feel. I'll take the extra room in the rear over the extra room in the trunk any time.

I have to agree the trunk is a bit small. I just went golfing in there and was able to fit two golf bags in there with some extra space. The amount of room works fine for me, however for those married and with kids, I guess I could see how I bit more room could be more helpful. I guess if anything they could have made the opening a bit bigger.
