Trunk lining in 3gs ... does it fit nicely?
Hi fellas, a quick question, the trunk has a cloth lining, the one that is just below the rear window and just below the main trunk seal seams to sag and I can see the separation between the cloth / felt lining and the seal, dealer told me this was normal for the GS. Just wondering what yours looks like....I put some hot glue to bring it together but just wanted to see if this "normal"

same problem with mine.. glad to see i'm not alone.. theres a spot on both sides thats just behind some white plastic thing.. considering a line of gorilla glue in those areas.. need to wait till the weather warms up though.. going to be 1 degree here in in a couple days

I beleive the white things you refer to are the little clips that hold that entire lining against the trunk roof, I will try what you mentioned when the hot glue fails ....I had some handy so I put a bit in there and pushed the felt up to tuck in behind the seal. I did this after I installed a second trunk light on the left side of the trunk so I ran a wire there. Next will be to change the festoon bulbs and install LEDs in there. Anyhow, thanks for responding.

No problem.. Yes, LEDs are great in the trunk! So, i see you've added a Camery to the fleet in the last post.. for the kid(s)? How does it ride compared to the GS? any dash rattle ?

I bought the camry for my father, my 2 year old needs a barbie car probably. New Camry looks nice on the outside, but inside is very cheap looking, in fact the 04 camry i sold had a nicer interior, more quality look for sure. But I decided the get new camry as the 07 LE versus 04 Le added a bunch of airbags, disc rear brakes and ABS. I just wanted him to have a safer car. Unfortunately toyota quality is on the way down.
