Default Dec 06 and Jan 07 production

Can someone please confirm whether any GS350s were built in December and January? We've got November and February covered in this thread, so if indeed no cars were built in Dec and Jan, something might be suspicious...

Starstreak, were you able to check your garage floor? I sure hope it wasn't oil!

Here we going with the paranoia!

My car is an IS350 I've barely got 6 months on it and it already has 10.5k miles on it. No oil leaks yet, however!! At my next oil change I will have this looked into.

I have a December build GS350 that I ordered on December 12th, and was delivered to Port Newark on 1/26/07. I picked it up at the dealer on 1/31/07.

If I see a drop of anything on my polymer garage floors I am definitely going to remove my wheels, tint and raise the car up. Then, I will take it to the dealer for warranty service and sell or trade-in the car. Any car with less than 6k miles that leaks from the engine block is totally unacceptable!

OK checked my garage floor. No leaks. It must've been from something else that spilled.

This is the issue I didn't think it effected the ES but turns out it must. I just saw this post on the ES forum. This is the exact same problem and this is where it leaks from.

I hope that is the case, but I have to say that, based on some stuff I've been reading here lately, the ownership experience some people are having with their ES350s is reminding me of the sad days I had as an Acura owner some years ago.

If this turns out to be true (and I do hope it does not), it will erode my confidence in the company. This is not the kind of issue that should take close to 2 years across multiple platforms to identify. Again, that said, I hope there is no issue, because I do love our Lexus cars and want to remain a customer.

I hope it's no issue too. Kind of off topic for this forum, but just FWIW, I have an ES350, 4/06 build date, owned it for 9 months, and absolutely no issues or problems at all. I'm very satisfied and plan to remain a Lexus customer too. Good luck to you...
