My IS is still to new to take to the snow. Plus RWD and summer tires doesnt help either.

So I took my Acura Integra GS-R to Lake Tahoe 2 years ago. A pretty big snow storm hit while I was there. First time ever I have seen snow falling from the sky. Over a foot of snow fell that night.

Here are some pics of the aftermath of me drifting in the neighborhoos of South Lake Tahoe.

The whole entire trip I did not even put chains on. I think I was the only FWD car without chains.

My tires are susceptible to fishtailing when making turns in a few inches of snow, but the traction control immediately kicks in and sets the car straight.

They're great all around so far.. They even ride better having gone from the 17in wheel (w/runflats) to the 18in wheel.. Any tire will fishtail in snow if you push it hard enough but i really had to try the other night.. it all depends on the snow too. Your car will react differently on wet heavy snow than on the real cold powdery stuff, basically what we had the other night since it was in the low teens the other night. Haven't had a chance to really push them hard on wet or dry roads yet.. but they grip really well when I floored it on wet roads from a stop but I'm sure the AWD has a lot to do with that as well. I bought them from tirerack, dropshipped to the dealer for the swap since the sesors needed swapped as well. My decision was based on the tirerack ratings and reviews and the look of the tread for an 'all season' tire.
