Default Is Nav compatible with aftermarket DVD player?

Hi everyone,

I just purchased a 07 GS350 with NAV, and I was just wondering if there is any aftermarket DVD player that can plug into the factory NAV and play DVD? or I have to replace the whole factory NAV and purchase aftermarket DVD/NAV unit?

thanks,
Steve

what's your purpose or thought for wanting to swap out the nav/DVD?

you want to be able to watch DVD's? is that why?

you know there's a hack that alows this?

maybe you have other reasons.... just explain your intentions.

Do you or do you not have the Mark Lev system?

It's possible. It won't be as simple and plug and play though.

If it is simple, can you please advise how do we Navi/non ML owners can add a DVD player to watch on the monitor? Any good suggestion is appreciated other than using NavTV and tapping to the reverse camera.
