It looks as if I may have a buyer for my 2000 GS400 so I am more serious now on another car. Here is what I have found so far that I am looking into. I am partial to the V8 since I've had the GS400 for almost 6 years and have put on 130K and it still drives unbelievable. I know the GS350 is equally fast but love the torque/power on the V8 model.

Any thoughts on either from owners of each could help me decide...

I have not driven the 350 but have driven the 300. I wanted performance and did not think I could get it with a Lexus. I was leaning toward a Porsche but decided if I could fine performance with a luxury sedan, I would go that route. The 430 is much smoother and quieter. As you noted the V8 has a place the V6 can not fill. I know the 350 is much closer in HP, but I’m sure that is at a higher RPM than the V8. As you, I prefer V8 for a verity of reasons just a few listed above.
