My GS has a production date of March '05...but taking a look at the production VINs I am well "out of range"...marshmallow, you claim to have an Aug '05 and you state that you're affected by the TSB??? That cannot be the case...I suggest you take another look at your VIN. Do not automatically assume you are affected.

BTW I have had NO issues with oil leaks of any kind!

March 05 would be included on the TSB. Take another look it cars producded before the effective vin.

- ES350Bob and Serveretch - thanks for the comment, well I live in Brooklyn, NY and that's were I took my car for the first iol change... I am thinking to go to the Manhatten service with this issue since in Brooklyn they are so so...
So, the solution would be to remove lower cover and see what is wrong there?

You can take the 2 bolts on top of the engine cover off and lift the engine cover off and then look on the passenger side of the front engine. This is a lot more simple then those lower covers. It is just 2 screws.
