Default 2008 GS 350 / 460 Updated Info Here

in order to squelch any rumors of the demise of the GS460 i have decided to release this info. please note: this is all the info i have at this time, any questions likely have no answer cause now you will know as much as i do about the 2008 models. anyways, enjoy:

GS 460/350
Minor Change for ‘08MY
4.6L V8 engine
Updated exterior styling
-Revised front bumper and lower intake area
-Revised front grille
-Revised rear combination lights
-Outside rear view mirrors (turn signal incorporated)
-New 17” and 18” wheels
-Three new exterior colors: Golden Almond Metallic (4T1), New Silver (name/code TBD), Opaline Pearl (1G5)
Updated interior styling/features
-Revised instrument panel, combination meter
-Revised shift plate surround
-Revised assist grips
-New gray leather (same as LS 460)
-New black wood trim (same as LS 460)
Fuel filler door release and trunk release removed from drop-down switch box

I am surprised not to see the LS's HD nav system included. And am somewhat surprised not to see the 8 speed transmission included.

So will they be looking like the ones from Mercedes? Interesting...

I also like that they moved the 2 common use items out of the drop-down box, further defining the useful/etc effectiveness of that feature.

Looking forward to the exterior styling and interior adjustments.

i believe in the owners manual that it is called the "multi-information display", but someone please correct me if i am wrong

sorry, left out the GS450h info, not much, but here it is:

GS 450h
All changes from GS 460/350 (with the exception of exterior colors) plus VDIM cut-off switch
New “hybrid” exterior color: Black Opal (214) available for hybrid model only

What this says to potential GS350 buyers is that unless these new colors are just what you've been waiting for, there is no reason to wait for the 2008 GS350 since all of the changes are in the trivial category.

How much HP and torque finally the turn signals on the sideview mirrors. There not going to have the 19 inch wheels like the LS?

I know u said no questions but....Do you think the price for the 460 will be the same as the 430? More than the 450H?
