Hi there,
I have a little bit over 16000 miles on my 06 GS 300 RWD I bought last August and now when I drive up to 75-85MPH on the highway, my car will start shaking on certain roads (it didn't do this before). When it starts shaking, and then I take my foot off of the gas pedal, it will shake even more until I slow down.
Oh, and the noise & ride is getting rougher at high speeds.
Could this be a tire imbalance? Alignment? Or do I need new tires? I have the stock Dunlop SP Sport 2050s that came with the car (not runflats).
I decided to do the oil change myself at 15k miles and I had the car jacked up on one side for a while -- I wonder if that's what also caused it.
Should I order a new set of tires, go to Discount Tire Co and have them put it on and balance it? Would that solve the problem?

Sounds like it could be your tires but it's kind of wierd that it would start doing that right after you changed your oil. I read somewhere that the tires are balanced very carefully at the factory and matched in sets to ensure a smooth ride. If you need a balance check, look for a place with road force balancing.
Flat spotting?
TPMS sensor shift?

I only had it jacked up for about 3 hours so that shouldn't have mattered. I guess I'm going to take it back to the dealer for an inspection.
Thanks for sharing, 2thfixer!
