right now i am having an electrical issue and was wondering if anyone else has had this problem
okay here is the problem....
when i use the driver side switches to put the windows down or up the passenger and the rear drivers side do not move at all
they only move if you use actually use the passenger side and rear driver side switches are used.
i also noticed that the sun roof isnt working
i checked all the fuses and they are working fine
i recently installed xenondepot hids in the fogs and i have had the surgery to watch the dvd in drive ( this was done a year and half ago )
do you think i can take the car to the dealership w/o them saying i voided the warrenty?
or would they try to use this against me?

 

Sounds like the battery was disconnected and you need to reset the switches. I don't remember exactly how to do it, but something like lowering the window half way with the switch for that specific window, then raising it back up again. It's in the manual.

I just had to reset mine after hooking up XM kit - it's very easy.
You'll need to use the switch on each door itself and the rotation is as follows:

drivers door
passenger door
rear passenger side door
rear driver side door

lower the window 1/2 way, then immediately raise it back to top and hold switch at top for at least one second. Then move on to the next door. Once done correctly, they will all be able to be worked w/ the drivers panel.
