Default 2006 Gs430 Vs 2007 Gs430

he everyone. i would like to know how come the 06 GS430 have 300hp and the 07 GS430 have 290hp when they both have the same engine. I would also like to know how they both have the same 0 to 60 time. and last question is there a noticeable amount of difference in the 10hp

It is the exact same engine. Lexus now uses SAE ratings for their horsepower

You are correct. It's the same exact engine. The only difference
is that the SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) test procedure
has changed to make HP measurements more consistent between
auto makers. Toyota cars typically lost between 10-15 HP due to
this change.

In this case there is 0 difference in this 10hp "difference"
I'd chalk this up to a case of marketing wanting to claim 300hp for
as long as possible until they could no longer get away with it.
