Do your CDs show their titles and track names in the display? If so how do you get it to do that?

Should come on automatically, if cd has cd text. Is it all your cd collection or just a few not showing text?

It is all my store bought CDs. They are all CD audio. Where did you get your CD text ones?

Some are old. Some I bought yesterday.

Anything prior to 1999 won't have cd text. New Cds may have them but not sure if they're required as cd text not part of the original cd standard. Cd text was like an addendum that was added to the format.
If you have cds that don't have cd text, you can add them. You have to rip the cd to your pc, and then burn the songs onto a new cd-r/rw, making sure you select add cd text in the options. The media player should then access the online database such as CDDB ( Gracenote ) to fill in the cd text.

FYI - that last couple of version of Itunes allow you to turn on the CD text feature when burning an Audio CD. These have worked fine in my 07 GS350.
