Not really. Of course, I'm basing my answer on '07 GS350 with 3.5k miles (4 month of ownership). A few month back a had some occasional creaks from the dashboard with single digits outside while going over potholes and speedbumps or just your typical Jersey bumpy roads. Now, they all disappeared. I'm trying to hear anything while even going over railroad crossing, but it has been super quiet (knock on wood). I just can't wait until these terrible runflats will start wear off so I can buy new A/S tires. Probably will have 12k more miles to go on these RF.

I dont know if you guys know but if you take it to the dealership for the rattle there is a TSB on these noises. They replace the cowl for the sqeeking noise you guys are talking about.

I went to the dealer today to have my plates put on with a free wash and there was a guy in there screaming about how many times he has had to bring his car in for rattles. I didn't hear what model it was but he sure was pissed. I only have 280 miles on my GS and it is so tight and quiet. I just hope it stays that way. The only noise I can hear is the slight ticking noise from the motor on a cold start which goes away after a few minutes.

I've got 3500 miles on mine and I had a couple minor clicks from the dash and the rear deck when the temperature was below 10 degrees. Now that it has warmed up to 40 degrees, the car is completely quiet. So, I'm not going to do anything at the moment.

I suspect that there are a few mods that the dealer can do to tighten things up, but I'll let them practice a bit on other GS's before I request any fixes.

I do remember a couple noises from my wife's 2003 ES300 from the dash and one of the rear doors. I took it in to the dealer and they acted like they had heard that before. They fixed it the first time and the noise has never returned in 4 years! - So, I trust that they'll be able to deal with the rattle issue.

I really do love the car. I have owned it now for about 2 months and I feel much better about the purchase after 2 months of ownership. The gadgets are unreal!

My '06 GS300 is pretty quiet now after having it worked on 3 times. There's still a very minor tick then from the driver's side dash area. I might take it back someday for the tick, but I'm really afraid the car will come back with that noise fixed but a new, more objectionable noise in its place. I'm reasonably satisfied now.

I had the fixes done and ,along with the warmer weather, I think they have fixed most of the noise sources. As DaveJ says "There's still a very minor tick then from the driver's side dash area" sometimes, but I'm also afraid I'll get something worse in it's place if I take it back again. ;-)
