I tried to get a Starfire Pearl/Black interior when I purchased my car. The dealer explained to me they weren't building them that color when I purchased my car =[. And YES, it does list this as a possible color combo in the brochure..very very misleading information!!!

White with black leather is maybe the hardest color combo to get on any Lexus. THey are usually low demand and Lexus usually discontinues this color combo after a couple years of trying with each generation.
The IS 300 kept it though its entire 5 years.

A buddy of mine (not a member here) had a 98GS400 white with black leather, he just got rid of it and got a new G35!!! I offered to swap my interiors with him, but he said "no!..Hell No!" He used the color combo to get a good trade in on the G35

Chikken: That is an absolutely beeeeeaaaautiful car you have! I think people dont buy this combo because they dont see it, dealers dont order it. Once you see it, you're sold.

It's not the Lexus executive's decision what colors are ordered and delivered to the dealerships. It's the region offices that have control over what color combination and options end up in your area.

I believe there was talk that the units were attempted to be ordered and we're denied by Lexus saying they are not manufacturing those color combos and will not even if ordered. This is what I was responding to.

thanks Nauticalx........I'm not sure how to up load the high res images...I just resized them smaller.....
Well according to the dealership that i went to, they told me that if I wanted that color combo, it will take at least 3 months....so I was willing to wait for it. But it actually arrived in one month. I didn't realized that Glacier Frost on Black color combo was so rare.

anyway, i remember seeing a GFM GSXXX over at glendale lexus, i think it was a low milage demo, just in case anyone in socal was looking...
