Why is that my 2006 GS300 AWD releasing grey/white smoke that is visible during a warm day of 55 degrees while sitting idle in the driveway? I started my car like every morning, but this time I actually walked back into the house to grab something and went to my trunk and notice that there is quite some grey smoke coming out of both exhaust like a racing car sort of. I kept the car running in parked for 5-10 minutes, and still there is rich smoke coming out. I usually see this in winter time of course, but not on a warm 55-60 degree weather. I dont see it when I am driving off in the car since its 55 degrees outside. Is there something wrong with the car?

I have never seen any of my other cars do this for a long time in a mild temperature of 55-60 degrees. Thats bad. Many auto mechanics and other information I have researched up says that during mild temperature the car should not do this for longer than 5 minutes or there is something wrong with the ECU or broken head gasket, leak of antifreeze, or transmission fluid problem, etc. My Nissan Maxima, Infiniti QX4, Lexus RX330, Acura TL, etc never had this much grey whitish smoke and for a long time during idle at all unless its like 40-30 degrees outside.

I could be more parenoid than I should. But I will just get it checked out just to be sure. Its just that its so warm outside, 65 today, and the car still did it, and it my last 10 years of owning cars, none of them do this in a warm weather, and it looks quite embarassing driving off with smoke coming out of the exhaust on a day like this.

If you're concerned, just bring the car to the dealer and let them see if there are any problems. I only see white smoke coming out if it's really cold outside, like under 32 degrees.
