Hey guys

I've been waiting on my GS350 for 2 weeks now. It arrived at the port Wednesday but still have not heard anything.

I have some questions.

I picked the Mercury Metallic paint with 18' Spider wheels
(I wasn't able to see the spider wheels on this color car or any car really. How do these rims look on this color?)

I got the Mark stereo system. I understand you can watch DVD's well the car is in park.
(Anyway to override this? Is this what was explained in another post about selecting an invisible button?)

I want Michelin summer tires but don't know really what tire is the best?
(Florida weather. Rain and heat)

What can I do to give the GS350 more HP? Keeping the warranty active!!!
(Is upgrading the air filter or whatever really worth it?)

I want to tint the windows.
(Is 15% dark enough so that people can't see in unless they are really close?)

I have a Toyota Camry Hybrid and the Sirius radio has a nasty antenna on the front windshield. I want Sirius in the Lexus but minus the antenna. Will the shark fin work? I heard Sirius is not an option but have ready it is or they are working on it. What is the latest news?

Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 is the best summer tire out there.

If you have to have michelins then go with the above recommendation otherwise the best summer tires are the Goodyear Eagle F1 Gs-D3 hands down. Great for Dry and Wet Handling. Do a search for this tire for reviews and you will see. You can also go to audiworld.com and many of the guys their are using the tire and have lots of recommendations for this tire.

I guess my question about the tires should have been....

Out of the 3 tires Lexus offers (Summer tires) for the GS350. What tire (Brand) should I get?

I think they offer Mich. Yoko and something else? Not sure of the model # but

My dealer in FL put on Mich. Pilot Sport AS2 for me on my 18" Spiders at my request. No problems.... just ask them... you are the customer.... prob. best to stay away from the Yok's in any case... no one seems to like the noise they generate....

None of the standard OEM offered tires are any good. They are Ok, and can tie you over, if you don't want to spend $800-$1,300 right away on great tires.

I'm guessing by your name and location you got your car from Lexus of Jax.

I just called my sales guy and left a message so (Crosses fingers) Does anyone know the price diffrence in the tires? The ones that come with the car and the Mich AS2? (Just incase he wants to charge me more

Well that was easy enough. The tires were $40.00 cheaper than the ones the GS350 comes with standard. Because I was getting the spider wheels there was no cost for labor and I should have credit of $160.00 towards oil changes or whatever...

Thanks

Any word on Sirius radio yet?
