It seems like people are having a hard time getting new vehicles. It's not like the GS is selling like hot cakes but people are not getting these vehicles readily. Was wondering if actually their are some truths to Lexus stopping production to trouble shoot some of the Body and Hardware problems that people are outlining in the forum and Consumer Reports Average Reliability ratings. Any people in the know can speak some truths to this subject.
Also can anyone for certain let us know when Lexus will start taking orders for an 08 and when delivery will be. I know JJbodean has said Fall delivery and ordering but someone else has said May ordering. Can confirm which one. I am wanting one but wouldn't mind waiting 2-3months to ordering an 08 but not 7-8 mionths.

 

I dont know what the problem is with getting a GS but this sucks.

 

If the rumors are true that there will be minor styling changes
on the 2008 model that may also be a reason why there is a lack
of inventory.

 

Lexus definetly needs to get their game up, they'd sell more if they were more readily available!

I have bought 10 new carsin my short life time and never had to wait.

 

A friend of mine had to wait for his Black on Black GS350. It has been 6 months, The waiting game isn't fun. I couldn't sleep the night before picking up my GS350 and it's not like I never own a Lexus before.

I was told mine would be here in 3 to 5 days after it arrived at the port last Wednesday... Wasn't on the truck today!!! Now I can't sleep for 2 nights ;-)

 

After no new GSs at all for a few weeks, a couple of new red GS 350s showed up this week at my local dealer.

 

I'd just like to add that my dealer told me TODAY I will be getting mine in about 2 weeks. He gave me the VIN number too. Hang in there guys,, its worth it Im sure you know. As soon as I get mine Im stripping naked and driving around bare *** in it until my eyes bleed.
