So is Sirius available (built-in) on the 07 GS350?

If I get XM as a port installed option, do I get any free period of XM included with it?

Neither XM or Sirius are built-in, but XM option is available directly from Lexus (probably as port installed option, like you suggested) and sharkfin hosts XM antenna. For Sirius, your best solution is Vaistech SLS module with either external antenna (inside or outside the car) or wiring Sirius to sharkfin XM antenna which also works!

I did the Vaistech SLS Sirius module install and it works great. I have Sirius that is totally integrated into the car like it came from the factory. I use the touchscreen nav unit to change channels and read channel information. It also has an aux input port that I use with my iPod. Reception is great and sound quality is pretty much CD quality. Far better than RF modulated systems and IMO the same sound quality as my other 2 cars that have factory integrated Sirius radio. I'm sure that reception will vary depending on where you live but in CA, it's great. That said, I have also had XM factory integrated and add-on sytems and it seems that in general XM has far better signal quality on the west coast. I never had dropouts under bridges but I do with Sirius and it's the same with all of my cars not just the Vaistech/GS install. No dropouts around mountains or anything though.

The Sirius/iPod install + the DVD/Nav hack has made my car a rolling entertainment center. All I need now is a small DirecTV antenna and some quieter tires.
