Default 3rd gen GS holds up well in accident...

I was browsing eBay for a 3rd gen GS...

Check out these pics... wow.

inside doesn't look that bad...

What do you guys think? I think this car held up REALLY well - protected the occupants... I'd like to get one of these someday...

not to bust your theory but the gs and lexi and even toyotas for that matter are not known for having incredibly safe designs. the crash tests results of toyota vehicles have been lagging even american counterparts not to mention the tin box hondas on the road. check out the ratings, i was surprised to learn that these cars arnt as good in a crash, i still plan to buy one and just make sure i drive defensively for those idiots that t-bone people!
Also theres no way of saying this car held up well, we dont know how hard it was hit. theres substantial incursion into the passenger compartment, it all depends on how hard and what hit it. the conclusions on this post are unsubstantiated. no offense.

Looks like the brunt of the impact was right at the pillar, which
was helpful...

Driver must have been quite sore after this hit!
I'd take a pass on this one. Too much possibility of 'hidden' damage to make it worth the risk. How will it stand up to another one of these hits?
