Performance is not exactly reduced. I think it's more accurate to say that pedal pressure is slightly increased at low speeds. With the new pads, you could lock up all 4 wheels at will, so performance is not exactly reduced. I have had them on for 3k miles and wouldn't go back to the original pads if someone paid me.

+1 Just had my installed, and what a difference. My front wheels are still shiny, I can't believe my eyes!!! I do too notice I have to press breaks a little bit harder, and they are not as grabby (still have to wear off a little bit). But, its really a small difference, performance is not sacrificed, and the outcome result is amazing!!!

...Unfortunately, my wifes IS250 2006 has worse brake dust than mine but only the IS350 was also listed on that report which means i have to keep cleaning hers myself once a week b/c i hate to look at it and she doesn't really even care...imagine that ( i think its her way since she knows i will always do it anyway for her...haha)

I didn't ask them, and forgot to pick up the paperwork. Should arrive in the mail soon, and I hope everything was documented. Was yours changed? I assume mine was not since I don't have that many miles on the car and my original were still in good shape, so probably only pads were replaced.

As far as my brake pads go, the new ones definetly help eliminate the excessive brake dust but I like the grabby feel much better on the old brake pads. I guess not really enough to want to switch back though

^ it will not be done unless you request it. Tell them to do it upon delivery. Or better yet, keep the original one and change it a few weeks later Than you really going to appreciate it!!!

I thought I would add an update. After 5k miles, the new pads feel every bit as grabby as the original pads. When the dealership installed the low dusting pads, they did not resurface the rotors. I didn't have time to go back so I just let them "bed" in. I had to give a tad more brake pedal pressure to slow down from moderate speeds but at around 4k they started to improve and now they are the same as the old pads. Moral of the story, get your rotors resurfaced when you get your new pads boys.
