Damn, wheel bearing problem
God, I swear that I am fed up with the nit picky problems i am having. I just had my 2 front wheel bearings replaced at 8,000 miles for turbine sounds coming and going when making turns on highways at 80mph., Now after 2,000 miles of quiet cruising, I am hearing it again when making right turns or changing lanes to the right lanes. I am losing faith in Lexus, because I dont think those wheel bearings are going to last for 100,000 or more miles even if the dealer tries to find out whats really going on and do something about it. Its so sad.

I had to have my driver-front bearings replaced at 11K on my 06 GS300. Before that they told me three time it was my tires, but like you, I knew better. The sound was way to annoying for that. It's one thine to have a design or manufaturing defect, but to compound that with the ignorance of the service crew...good thing there wasn't a catastrophic failure, before they came to their senses.
I have 25K and the noise hasn't returned.
