if it's 3M double sided tape or even body tape, then it will withstand car washes and rain. That stuff is used on the undersides of some body kits.

Is that plasic flat? It looks so in the picture, yet when stuck on it seems to flow around the bumps of the lamp. where was this purchased again?

Plastic is not flat...there are indentations to make it flow around the bumps of the lamp and be applied smoothly. You can purchase them through l-tuned.

That did work out better than I thought.
I can't understand Lexus sometimes. I would think the LS have chrome trim around the headlights. The Audi A6 does have it as well. The GS has a lot of chrome, headlights, window trim, lower side trim.

Yes, the hood line blends in nicely now... but nice chrome trim around the headlight is gone...
I guess you gain some and loose some in this case.

it doesnt blend evenly with the hood line IMO. if it was a little lower it would be perfect.

looks vey nice, I agree. nice write-up and good install.

but I also agree that "for me" it needs to come down about 1/2 more inches to flow better where it touches the hood in the center. Needs to follow the line of the hood not go up 1/2 like it does.

But still looks very nice.

I agree...however, I think the eye lid would obstruct the light beam of the lows which is why they had to raise it.

actually, probably doesn't matter now, since it's all done and nothing you can really do, but if you just got the part that goes over the chrome type plastic by the center, and had that part thickened out, it wouldn't adjust the part over or around the lights at all and would still then match up with the hood with the exact line.instead of the part being 1.5 inches by the center, it could be 2.0 inches or whatever the specs are without adjusting anything else, just that specific area.

Oh well. Still looks nice.
