Default GS 450H - Screen Switching Issue

When coming out of a Bluetooth phone call - if I was preiviously listening to Audio/CD or XM etc.. my screen always goes back to Consumtion screen, why is this? Can it be changed? I would like it to go back to previous screen before netering or using BT phone.

Nope. As far as I know that's one of the really dumb features of the interface.

Default Screen Scene

YES, you can change the default screen in your Lexus!!!!! If you go and hit the "Info" button and then access the "Screen Setting" you will see an option button that asks if you want to default to Nav/Fuel Consumption ......... Choose "NO" and when you finish with your phone call you should go back to your last screen........... try it out and let me know what up!!!

Good Luck........

TQ

This is very very annoying. How can I get the system just to stay on audio?

Mine stays in Audio or Climate, or whatever screen I leave it at. I used the same instruction as TWQ. I do not have the hybrid. Mine is a 06GS300AWD, but it should be the same.

There is a difference between '06GS300 and '07GS350 in terms of screen interface. Sounds like if you have NAV in '07, you can enable to switch back to NAV screen. If you don't have it, it goes back to Consumption screen. Its annoying when you are using BT, but even more annoying where I have my screen setup to view MP3 folders/files, and after manually switching back to Audio from Consumption screen, it goes back to CD # screen and I have to navigate back to the folder/file view.

07 has Gen5 Nav and 06 has Gen4. My buddy has a ES350 which has the Gen5 nav. It can be done. Go into "info" and "screen setting", you can toggle it on/off to either default back to Nav screen or stay at whatever screen you are on.

But, if he doesn't have NAV, than nothing you can do about it. I don't have NAV in mine, and even by selecting the right option under INFO, it still goes back to Consumption screen.

I'm afraid you're wrong. I have a GS 450H with Navigation and I have the above option set to "No". There are a number of situations (including using the phone) after which the screen does not return to Audio. I find that the most annoying one is when I slow down at an intersection, or when I get out of our company garage, and the screen goes to the Lexus Parking Assist, it then does NOT go back to the Audio screen. You have to hit the Audio button again.
