Default Michelin Tires

I was at the dealer today, drove by a semi they were unloading. The new GS350's had MIchelin tires on them. Does anyone know what type of Michelin it is?

I took delivery a couple days before Christmas...I think...

They are Y rated:
http://www.michelinman.com/specs/primacy_hp/3820.html

So you can only go up to 186 mph...not over.

Default tire noise on 2007 gs350 awd

I have a gs350 with dunlop tires 225/50/17 and I'am getting excessive tire noise. Dealer has rotated tires, checked wheel bearings. Dealer said awd vehicles have more tire noise. I've seen postive comments about michelins,
wondering if anyone has similiar issues with dunlop tires
Any advice welcome
Thanks
Scott

i have had lots of low profile tires from bridgestone, firestone, goodyear, etc and my michelin pilot sport 2's on my BMW were the smoothest riding quietest Y rated tire I've driven on.

you have the Dunlop 5000's Run flats? I had those, they came stock on my automobile. They were noisy as hell and I swapped them out. I made the dealer buy them back prorated and give me the PS2's that I wanted for a reduced price.

I am so very happy with them and they are better ride/feel/quietness/sturdyness......

Just better......

but, I think the installer might need to rebalance, they seem a little off...... as if they need rebalanced... hmm.

But yes the Dunlops are noisy and they just get worse... I had mine for about 7000 miles and I noticed myself having to talk louder in the car so my wife could hear me.

Get ride of them quick...

If this may help.....

Date of In Service: 12/11/06
Current Date: 04/28/07

Mileage on my ride: 1,400 miles
Miles per day: 10 miles

My Michelin Pilot PS2's 245/40ZR18 Y93 Summer tires

They ride like......S.....I......L......K!

Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Bartle and James

P.S Dealer Service Manager told me that I better bring it for the 5,000 mile check.....DISTANCE or TIME......
GEEZ...Admiring the ride so much that I forgot that I could drive it, but it just looks good sitting in the driveway during the day and garage it at night. Keeping it covered.
