Default Hi all

New to this forum. May be a stupid question but is there a search function on the forum. If so, I can't find it. Thanks

Thanks for the nice welcome. I currently have an M35x coming off lease in about 6 months and am seriously considering the new GS. I think both of these cars are great and my only real complaint about the M35 is the noise. From what I've read, the GS is (as probably most Lexus) very quiet. When I had originally compared the G to the M, I chose the M not only because of looks and features which were comparable to both, but the M had more head room and I didn't feel like my head was brushing the roof panel. While the M noise isn't deafening, I'd like a little more quiet this time around. Any thoughts? Thanks

How tall are you? And did you compare a 06+ GS to an M for looks and choose the M? haha, I find that funny, maybe a new prescription for the specs is in order. Yes, I guess its subjective but I as well as a good deal of others find the M to be bland and its only really appealing the first couple of times you look at it...then its blandness (is that a word?) becomes very evident. The 3GS grows on you and to this date I can't help but stare at those things, its curves never die on you.

Yes, the GS is super smooth and quiet. I had a G for 18 months and the noise among many other things (squeaky brakes that Infiniti says was normal, seat heaters that took 15 minutes to heat up, etc.) drove me nuts. I then upgraded to the GS and what a huge difference. This was my first Lexus, and quiet frankly I'm sold. I love my GS and plan to keep it a good while.
