Maybe a dumb question, but do you guys think some of this stuff has already been done on my GS350AWD since mine was built in 02-2007?

Sure some of the issues have been solved. Especially the rattle stuff. But, I'm guessing your brakes are dirty.

I see them as a way to be informed about our vehicles. One must use care and common sense to not have some issue 'fixed' on their car just because it's the subject of a TSIB. You must also pay attention to the vin#s when the TSIB specifes such for a range of applicability.

Being well informed and armed with information doesn't hurt unless it is misused or abused.

I am having problems with brake dust problems too. Are you saying that the dealership will replace for free if i complain? If so what all do i have to say? Mine get filthy less than a few days after being washed.

Default Musty Odor TSB

I went to my dealership today to have the musty odor fixed again. Last time I brought it up the dealership "cleaned" it. This time I mention the musty odor TSB and the service advisor said he didn't know anything about it. When I told him the actually TSB number he then goes to say it does not apply to my vehicle. Do the dealers not get paid for doing the TSBs?

http://techinfo.lexus.com/

This is the OFFICIAL source for all manuals, TSIB's, and other Lexus documentation. It's $10 for 24 hours of access - hardly a bank-breaker. If you're going going to buy a day's worth of access, keep in mind that your access expires on midnight Pacific time of the next day, so buy it as early in the day as possible, and you'll get almost two days worth of access for $10.

Yes, all sections of the service manuals are in there. Plus electrical, diagnostics, and a bunch of other good stuff.
