I drove a manual for so many years that It just doesn't feel right if I'm not engine breaking.
I have had problems with the GS, however. Because it is so quiet when I forget to take it out of tiptronic mode, the car is stuck in 2nd gear...then i'm driving along at 35 mph wondering what that distant noise is...then I notice the Tach at 5500 rpm
