Not true, the 2nd and 3rd Gens are both 189" long approx. IMO 21" is the largest I would go on such a short car, unless your going to use air and leave it dumped 100% of the time.

The length may be the same but the car is wider which why 22x11 fit with almost no problem..

width is cool but thats 2 REALLY big wheels that are REALLY close together! 7series is 203" long with 22's, S550 is 205" long with 22's Thats my only issue with 22's on this car. On that DUB one its cool with that super slam, but on a regular car its a bit much IMO.

i had riden on 22's in a 3gs and it feels like shiettttttt (maybe not like a beat up NEON but still like shieeeeet)...you rub on turns (not like you wont on 20's but atleast with 20's you can step down in tire width to reduce it to minimal) and forget about feeling the road, you are the road, haha...that same person then sat in my 3gs and even he said it was night and day but he still like 22's solely for the claim on 22's (and yes he even said he was ghetto fab!!!)...but in the long run, my 20's HRE's still got alot more props...

again, spend the cash on a nice 3 piece staggered set of 20's...

I'm surprised that the 3g GS can even fit 22" rims in that wheel well! I personally don't think that you should go 22." You should stick with 20s max. However, it's your car. Do what you like with it bro!

...just don't do this because that's what first came to my head with I read "22" on a GS" :
