Current market value of 06 g300
Well fellas, Lexus is buying my 06 back...too many small issues, it is gone in a week. I dont want to fork the extra dough now for an 07....I want Ml/Nav this time around. I found an 06, color i like, ML / NAV, 22k miles, Private party, no accidents, original owner...I am thinking around 36ish...plus fees of course...what do you think is fair for it ???

I don't know.. just one question. How do you know that the other 06 does not have "small issues"? Sometimes grass is not greener on the other side. Sorry...not to burst your bubble or anything...

G35 is a rocket....but it is no Lexus....For the money, it is a great deal....surprisingly it is only about 2 inches shorter than the GS with same wheelbase, very nice car for the money, a nicely equipped one can be purcashed for 32ish....nav package / with Harddrive in dash MP3 puts you closer to 35ish...plus taxes...
I figure the crappy roads I drive beat up the car and make it rattle. These were my issues....rattles, rattles, more rattles from the attempts to fix the rattles, and a squeak or two. mechanically the car is sound, structurally it is weak. I figure so long as the car is more quiet than mine, I am happy. Any car can have issues but that is what warranty is for. The 07s have rattles too so I dont think it has been fully addressed. besides my car is 2 yrs old now and I literally am walking away from it ...Lexus customer service rocks.
A word of advise....if it does not rattle much, leave it alone. My experience with this is extensive...let me tell it briefly....
Buy car in June 05...3-4k miles, speaker rattles, they replace some housing, till rattling....new glove box rattle shows up, they cant fix either. then a dash squeak....they scracth my fender while it is in the shop....it gets buffed out. then there are more dash rattles and dash gets removed. I get the car back and it seems quiet but I notice my car seat is dirty and wrinkled.....WTF. Deep ugly wrinkles in the seat...new seat is put in...then rattles come back...total time in shop like 44 days !! I meet with corporate, they hear the rattles and we go from there.
