I have a modded A4 and let me tell you to just wait for the 2009 A4/S4 it will be a much more better balanced car. Current form the weight is too much over the front wheels and you get too much understeer. But I do concur that the current A4/S4 looks really nice especially in avante form and if you get a good car it is pretty reliable also.

Looking at how you modified your E55, I'd expected you to care more about performance than gadgetry. If I were you I'd consider a 535i. 300hp, 300ft-lb tq. with a lot of potential for more turbo power...

Well I dont like the 5 series 
I test drove one yesterday...
PIcked up a 2005 S4 Avant today
6MT and all. Got a few mods on it already. It's freaking sick!
