Default replacing brake rotors

I'm putting this here because this is specific to the 3rd gen so i hope its OK, so here's my question.
I'm looking at replacing my rotors on my 06 GS300,does anyone sell brake setups for us yet. I had the rotors turned once already because it was vibrating when brakes were applied. It was a quick fix because it came back a few hundred miles later and now i figured its time to just change the whole setup. I have 39k miles and still on stock pads too.
Here's another part to my question. I have done as much research as i can on this site and others but no place can tell me a setup that works well so i called the dealership and asked if there were any compatible brake rotors that would work from Lexus and he did his checking and found out that our cars have a separate right and left....so is this true? So now what options do we have. He did tell me to take it to the dealership and they will fix it but I'm thinking its just going to come back again. i think its in part the way i drive or even the wife's driving and its getting to hot down there, well id like to eliminate that heat by getting the cross drilled and slotted. i feel stuck. Any help out there is appreciated thanks

Cross drilled or slotted rotors don't dissipate heat any better than stock rotors of proper thickness. Drilled rotors are more prone to cracking also. I would suggest you go back to the dealer and insist they replace your rotors with new OEM rotors...especially since you're still under warranty.

now do you think they will pull the old "well sir you modified your car with bigger wheels and springs so your not covered" deal. yea i had that type of crap before, you know when you put a stereo in and they say thats what is making black smoke come out of the car.

dont u have the stock rims? either way if the dealership is that big of dicks u can complain to management. Trust me when i was at lexus we had countless modified GS/IS/SC come in for issues that were warranty. If the problem was really a problem then we asked no questions and fixed it. Same now at the toyota dealer im at

I absolutely 100% agree with the comment about drilled and slotted rotors. No street car should be equipped with those, unless you're doing it just for show.

Lexus OEM rotors would be the best rotors for this car. If you want better braking performance, you may want to look into different pads.

As far as the rotors replacement being covered under warranty, I don't think it will fly at 39K miles, but it doesn't hurt to try.
