50% of college students think Lexus is an American Company
On leftlanenews.com, a poll of 1000 college students was taken. 50 percent though lexus was a american company while 50 percent knew it was japanese. As for landrover, 58% thought it was american and 18% knew it was british. This goes to show that many college students are clueless about these things and do not even read or understand the global business, etc. This is sad. 98% of my college friends are from all over the US, and they know that my Lexus is a Japanese car. I guess this poll can be erroneous due to small sampling.

You think that is bad! - Look who the Adults in America elected president! - Most voters cannot even name their Senators from their home state, much less their Congressman.
American Idol participants seem to be the interest. This is why Politicans can give tax cuts without spending cuts and the voters eat it up!

I tend to agree. I double majored at UCLA (econ and computer science), have done quite well for myself but I don't think I've applied 15% of what I learned in college towards running a business or how to work with people.
School of hard knocks (i.e. hands-on experience) is the key.
