Had to brag...!?!?!
Drove out to Arizona today...365 miles..
Cruise control the whole way with 3 stops.
28.6 MPG averaging 74 miles per hour.
At one point before the stops I was averaging over 30.5 MPG.
If you don't own a GS 430 the MPG probably sounds terrible...
However,
For us proud few, this is unfortunatley gives us a little hope...
I have always thought of myself as a pretty smooth driver but the Cruise Control on this car really made a huge difference in MPG.

Pretty Nice
On my GS350, we went to visit my friends in Oklahoma City, which is about 200 miles away.
From Dallas to Oklahoma City, I was crusing around 80 MPH, got average around 28 MPG.
One the way back, I was crusing around 130 MPH, got average around 25 MPG.
Not bad averages for a toy only had about 800 miles on it, when we took the road trip.

This is by far the best MPG I have got. Usually on this trip I will average 25 ish so 28 is a nice jump..
For the record:
I made this my test run to see how good the MPG could get so at all stops I was basically coasting, running stopsigns (in the middle of nowhere) or using minimal gas to get to a restaurant, station, etc...
I am determined to average 30 MPG for a whole trip but unless I go 60 the whole way I do not see it happening...I usuall drive 80 on the highways so I am assuming that hurts a bit...
The other problem is much of the Phoenix drive is somewhat downhill
