Default I avoid speeding tickets the old (man) fashioned way

I just set my cruise control at the speed limit and let everyone zip past me on the left (and sometimes on the right). Of course there was the time a semi tried to ram me from behind. He pulled on the shoulder and tried to pass me on the right. I accelerated away from him. He changed to the left lane, started to pass me, then tried to lane change onto me. He drove onto the shoulder. My wife was most disturbed. She took a photo of him.

Then we called the highway patrol. When I got home I filed a report with the FTC. Sadly, we only got the plate for the trailer, not for the truck itself. What a rude person. I hope he removes himself from the gene pool before he kills someone.

But I am THAT guy who just crawls along at the speed limit. Part of the reason for that is that my insurance company put a device in my car that measures my speed, breaking, acceleration, and lateral G-s. It saves me $320/year on my insurance (I pay less than $400/yr). Being an old man has its advantages...but the big disadvantage is that the grim reaper is not too far away.
