Hey, I know Lexus is suposed to have a very quiet interior and comfortable ride. But everytime on my way home from work.. the cars roof or rear window start creaking to a point that i have to blast my music so i wont hear it. It doesnt always happen.. but when it does it gets very annoying.. It almost sounds like there is something loose in the roof.. this happens in normal conditions.. im not talking about over bumps or anything.. I could be going over a newly paved road and itl still creak a lil..
Would the dealer know about an issue like this?

the back window clips are probably making the noise.
seems like lexus likes to use these stupid clips on all the new cars. some rattle on slightly rough roads too.
take it to the dealer, and tell them to shave the window clips, per the TSIB (tell them to search for it)

I was able to solve some of the roof squeaks myself.
I had a lot of squeaks coming from the sunroof. I discovered that the problem was when I washed the car, I used my leather chamois to wipe the rubber seal and the metal contact area around the sunroof. I noticed a grease-mark on my leather but thought nothing of it.
After that day the sunroof continuously squeaked. Recently I put some mild grease on the area and that problem went away. Perhaps it's better you talk to your dealer so they can recommend the correct grease - don't want to damage the rubber.
I still have an annoying ticking sound coming from the roof/windshield area, but that one seems to be temperature dependent and very hard to replicate. Since it is infrequent I'm going to ignore it for now.

Leave it along!!! Just turn up the music and try to ignore the rattles. Unless you want to become member of "frequent visitor" at your local Lexus service department.
