Keep it simple. Chrome frame only.

There are enough Lexus badges on the car (both the logo and the name itself).

I was never a fan of the clear covers, especially when they start yellowing after some time.

I have front/rear simple "Alumni" frames. The frame color is that of brushed aluminum and the text is the same on a black background. It goes perfectly with my Obsidian GS. I clear coat my license frames to bring out the color, make them easy to keep clean, and to prevent fading.

But - what really sets it off is the National Air & Space Museum license plate, complete with picture of the SR-71 and my "call sign" - LEXJET!

Unfortunatly in TX we can't have them, cops only enforce that if they are really being dix. Even then they might pull you over for something else and tack on a little extra love for the license plate frame.

I had the chrome frame with Lexus logo on it and it's a pain to keep clean around the letters. Dirt just builds up around that area and if you aren't meticulous in cleaning it, it's just going to look bad. I ended up getting a simple plain chrome frame and I love it.

I left the dealership one on for now. My school one doesn't really go I think.

If you can find a simple brushed finish one, that's what I would go with.

Looks like a very nice plate but the double circle L's are redundant?

They are a bit redundant but it was clean, simple, inexpensive and uniform color (most important) for me, it is one step up from a chrome only frame

I like the carbon look. Don't need the Lexus name. I know its a Lexus.
