Well, it looks like I will not get my car until late October
There is a priority on it, but I was told they are not releasing them since there are still too many 07s around.

People are reporting over $5000 off the MSRP on 07 right now. With 08, I doubt you would get more than $2000 off MSRP when the cars are available next month.
5-6 years later, the difference will be less than $3000. Buy a 07 if you can find the color combo and options you like and then buy a $3000 CD or put it in the money market saving or buy a Apple stock or something and I sure bet you will be far better off 5 years later with your 07 compare to buying 08 for $3000 more.
But then if you must have the latest most upto date product then 08 is your only choice.
