IS carbon fiber worth it?
I am lookin at the Fabulous kit from Carson Toyota.
I wonder how the rear lip works? Just drill it on?
They have two versions of the kit (which is front lip and rear lip)
$910 - two fiber reinforced plastic
$2100 - two CARBON FIBER pieces.
Is it worth to pay twice as much for carbon fiber? I assume carbon fiber you dont have to paint it right? My car is black.

Yes You Dont Have To Paint Cf...but Let Me Tell You I Have The Regular Fabulous Kit And The Lip Gets Chips All Day Long...so Expect It To Be The Same For A Cf One...and When The Cf Lip Gets Bad Enough From Chips And A Few Scrapes...you'll Paint It...so At The End Do You Want To Paint A 1000 Lip Or 500 Lip Hahaha...just My 2 Cents

The primary advantage to CF it that it weighs less. If you're stripping your car for track use (pulling out carpet, sound insulation, AC, etc.) then CF makes sense. If not, don't waste your money. Your brief case weighs more than either piece most likely.

Let's face it, the primary reason behind CF for "small" body parts is looks... In order to save significant weight with CF major extensive work will have to be performed, swapping a hood or a roof for a CF one will save few pounds, so a body kit will be basically useless when it come to weight saving.
On the other hand, everybody love the looks of CF !
