Talking D. I. Y.

I got my HID kit through eBay, just pick the seller that you have work with reasonable price.

Now almost all of the HID kits are either Made in Taiwan or China. Which it does not really make any difference, because both are run by Taiwanese. So if NASA trust and use electronic products that are Made in Taiwan, you should not have to worry about if the kit are made in Taiwan, China, Japan, Korea, or even Germany. All of internal parts are from Taiwan!!!

I paid about $150.00 for my kit, 9006 with 3000k (golden yellow).

It only took me less than 20 minutes to install the HID kit with double-sided tape.

1) Take out the 3 screws from the front wheel fender, and gently push the wheel well cover aside to remove the OEM bulb and look for open area for ballast;
2) Clean the HID bulbs with rubbing alcohol (80-100%) and the area for the ballast (ensure no oil or resides on the bulb);
3) Connect all of the wires and test run make sure the bulbs lights up before sticking the ballast to the bumper;
4) After all bulbs are light up, turn them off and start the vehicle and turn the new HID fog on and let it burn in for 15-20 minutes to stablize the HID bulb.

Hope this helps,

Default White or Yellow?

Now you have to figure out if you want clear 6000k or 4300k yellow.
Here, check this out.

I got my 9006 conversion kit from my coworker for $200. It was the cheapest I could find at the time. He doesn't sell 'em anymore. The brand is Xenon. You can go to Xenon Depot. They are a vendor here, I believe. Or you go to ebay. Shop around. Good luck and definately post some pics when your done.

Our 3000k kits are currently on sale for $249.99:

http://www.xenondepot.com/product.php?product_id=121

The ballasts used in this product are uniquely designed for aftermarket applications as they are completely epoxy sealed to protect against harsh weather conditions. In aftermarket applications, ballasts are often mounted outside the headlight leaving them susceptible to water damage.

These kits also come with a one year warranty.

Steve

You will not need to modify your vehicle in any way when installing this product. Take a look at the kit when you receive it and if you dont feel comfortable installing it contact some shops to find out about getting it installed for you.

Question:
I'd love to make my fog lights to match in color HID low beams.
What would be the right color code?

I would go with the 5000k kit to best match the low beams.
