Default Looking to purchase used GS350 2007 w/ nav

Hi, I am looking to purchase a USED 2007 GS350 w/ Navi and I was wondering how much would be a reasonable bargain to the dealership?

http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...l=&cardist=785

Pretty interested in that one as of now and how low should I ask them for?

Not sure about the price but that's a hot ride. I'm gonna buy a used GS350 myself but in about a year. Any particular reason why you want such a new used vehicle? I always figured for a couple grand more I'd rather buy new.

I dont see a point in buying a new lexus as they drop a lot of $ after the 1st year so better off just buying a used one and save a couple grand.

This car is actually going to be for my Dad and I'm just getting info for him.

Alright, I will jump in and give my 2 cents. if it depriciates a whole lot in the first year, does it make any sense to save a couple of grand. You need to save the entire depreciation, otherwise you are taking the depreciation hit for a car that you have not enjoyed as new, makes sense. that vehicle new is about sticker priced around 50.2k, and you know you can get a very good deal, at least 5k off in so cal, probably similar in TX. So if that dealer wants 46 for theirs and will go for 43....spend 2 more and get brand new, no miles, no issues.....realistically that car should be purchased for 40K if it is to make any sense...

I would not be interested in a used 2007 - It's probably a lemon and someone got rid of it, because it's a Problem. - Don't shop for a problem.

Could be true but on the other hand, when I was looking for a GS last September, I ended up buying a 430 from a guy whose wife hated the car...

less than 1800 miles with one trip to the dealer for the back window creak fix.

If it's a lemon or a dealer buyback, by law, it has to be disclosed. Chances are someone did an early lease return or traded up to something different.

I baught my 06 gs with 12k miles on it and I saved over 7K for it. It was the dealership's managers wifes car, and she hated it. She wanted the new RX that was coming out and he surprised her with this lol. He had all of the maintance stuff done at his dealership and it was on record. I felt like I got an awsome deal on mine, and I really didn't care that a little old lady drove it for the first 12k miles and took the depriciation hit for me.

Funny... I contacted Woodfield Lexus about the same car. I was dead set on the purchase if they would have been in the 38-40 range. They wouldn't barely budge off of their 46 mark.

Look at nada and KBB... I always purchase my cars at a high wholesale value at most... that ranks right around the 38-40. Maybe a bit more if the car is PERFECT inside and out... but not a penny more than 41...

Good luck. I thought those guys were a$$ clowns when I spoke with them over email.

I'm still looking for the elusive white on black combo. I may just order an 2008 if I get too ansy.

If you're willing to pay $46K, I'll sell you mine - same options with cashmere interior but no window tint - only 5K on the clock. Hell, I'll even throw in the shift **** (unlike this one)

In other words, pass unless you can get it $40K or below as said above.

Go with the new GS, you can get at least $5,000 to $7,000 off the MSRP easily.

New vehicle = Zero miles = Zero headache!!!
