2006 GS430(used) or 2007 GS350
I'm looking to get a 3rd gen GS. However I'm not quite sure yet on choosing which one at this moment and maybe I can get some input/advise from here. Reason why I chose GS is because it allows me space for car seat, not too big like LS, easy to drive and comfortable with Lexus refinement and quality.
I tested both recently and found they both were powerful in terms of their engine, HP, etc. I couldn't really feel much which does the best (V6 or V8) since I'm testing them in a short distance of both city/hwy, no hills for me to climb or hard corner...so I couldn't tell much difference here. I also got feedback from people say go for the 350 (quicker), some said V8 coz more torque, smoothness, but also people said either one is just fine, coz they are lexus, I can accept all that answers but now I really need to choose one to make up my mind. Please give me your thought on this and share your experience if you own any/both of them. thanks very much, appreciate your feedback on this.

My advice: you may want to start shopping around for the best deal on either car at this point if you are indifferent. I love the gs430 and v8 for obvious reason that were stated in your comments so the only negative of my car that bugs me is really the older version of the navigation system...grainey picture compared to pure, clean graphics on the gs350 version. I can easily do an override on my gen nav but you can't on the gs350 unless you do the dvd hack and go through all that mess. gas mileage is about 15% better on the gs350 as I easily average 21-23 mpg on every tank even with a lead foot on my v8.
i would also keep in mind the 08 models are around the corner so make sure you get the lowest price on either keeping that in mind.
happy shopping
