I just purchased a GS 350 AWD ML/Nav with a MSRP 52k for 45,800 (before TTL).

I think yours is a quite decent deal...only $1100 over my purchase price...good job there! My dealer would only do $51k OTD (which is $48000 selling price) with ML/NAV.

Looks like the best deals from here on out on 2007's will be right at invoice. That's a bit better than what we paid a couple weeks ago for our RWD with ML&XM MSRP $51,763. ($46,171 plus TTL and they threw in a Lexus car cover).

They threw in the car cover because they felt a little guilty for selling the car at such a high price.

You have quite the attitude. I asked them to throw in the cover after we reached what felt like the lowest price they were willing to sell for the day we bought. We had been going between 4 dealers in the central/northern CA area that day. Two dropped out and said "buy it, we can't match that price". The 4th dealer told me if I drove 200 miles to their dealership they might be able to knock another $100-200 off. Did I get the best deal I could have gotten? Probably not, but they had the exact car we wanted and we were ready to pull the trigger. It was a deal that was fair for us. Now kindly get off your high horse and stop bagging on people that didn't get the "stellar" deal you did.

FWIW, I thought he was being sarcastic. You got a very competitive price. Only an arrogant, pompous moron would think otherwise.

Come on guys...lets talk about great deals. The direct and indirect attacking is getting old.

Agreed. I apologize for even responding to his comment at all. In the future I'll try to ignore negative comments like that.

Maybe I'll consider going to NJ from OH. I was in a dealership today and the sales manager wouldn't even consider anything resembling a deal. For a $50,600 MSRP (GS 350 awd, nav) he offered $49,070. Big deal. I got an internet quote from another dealer for $2800 off that same MSRP. Better, but not good eneough but I do go in person to that dealer on Wed.

It's too bad about the 1st one, though, a friend (and my finance guy) recommended these guys and referred me to one if their salesmen that he had known for years. When I called my friend, he wasn't too happy I hadn't been offered a better deal. So much for referrals, I guess.

I might also consider TX since I have family and friends in the D-FW area. I could always drive the car back to OH. So where in NJ did you get this nice deal? PM me if you like, thanks.
