Just need to see what you are dealing with.
Someone told me this might be GM antifreeze.

ok, so I own a aircraft detailing company in addition to my real estate firm, so I think I might have a suggestion for you.

Go online and goto rolite.com or nuvite.com

Go and get their nuvite G6, C, or S or their The ROLITE™ Premium Polish & Sealant. Both should do the trick if done properly and won't harm your painted surface AT ALL>

Now this needs to be applied with a super soft cloth, and buffed off with a 6000rpm buffer, but it takes oxidations out of paints, as well as discolorations from things such as hydrolic fluid (which is much worse than any car antifreeze).

It shoulk run you about 40 dollars for about 1/2 lb. but should do the trick.

If you didn't want to attempt this yourself take it to a top notch detailer, he might have a clue as well.

That would just make me sick if that happened to me. I really feel for you. Is it possible that there were some gardeners spraying in the area? I know the pre-emergent Surflan has orange dye in it. Or was it definitely an act of vandalism?

Wow that does look bad... I'd say take it to a body shop and have them compund it. Don't want to rub it in, but that really sucks, hope you can get it resolved. GL

I appreciate the tip Jace, the pic I sent I took from my cell phone at the time it happened, it does not look like that now. The orange tint is gone, the missing clear coat in these areas is the only remaining aggrevation. I might get a quote to have that re-shot on the door (at a good paint shop)
Meanwhile I have called the hospital where it happened and they will review the security cameras. The quality of those usually suck and it would have to pan & scan at the right time. My luck is never that good.

@PDG: Sorry to hear about your car, and I hope everything turn out OK. In a weird and ironic way, yesterday after picking my daughter from daycare I noticed some red stuff around my drivers side door handle. It turned out to be strawberry or rasberry jam some kid probably left in there while I was parked.

@Jace: Aircraft detailing company?!? Holly crap, is this for commercial or private planes? I didn't even know such thing existed. Talk about diversifying your business interests, very cool

Private planes....

We do anything from a Lear Jet which is our smallest to a global express which is the biggest airplane in size before you get to a 727.
The lear 35 is about 4 million and global is as much as 52 million to purchase.

Oi paint-ball stains?!

Anyways back to OP, sorry to hear that and good luck. It looks pretty bad >_<

I'd personally take it to a detail shop and ask for professional solution.
